Housing Resources

AFRL Scholars Program Administration advises that any housing arrangements should not be finalized until an offer has been accepted and a stipend award letter has been signed. Until that point, internship positions cannot be guaranteed. When available, AFRL Scholars Program will provide housing resources for scholars assigned to projects at this location as available. Scholars are responsible for securing their own housing arrangements at these sites.

Extended Stay America (hotel)

Offers short-term weekly rentals for furnished studio apartments with full kitchens.

A parent must put a lease in his/her name if students are under age 18. 

Located directly across from Wright State University, which is less than a mile from WPAFB. 

The Province Apartments

Offers short-term leases (as little as 2-months), is furnished, and provides most utilities, including the internet. You pay for electricity and bring your own linens plus a few pots/pans/dishes.

Must be age 18 or have a parental signature.

A student stayed here with his mother and said they paid less for a 2-bdrm apt than they would have paid at a hotel.  It is located directly across from WPAFB, Area B, off National Rd.
