Khanh Dai Pham
Dr. Khanh Pham is a supervisory principal aerospace engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory-Space Vehicles Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. He serves an Adjunct Research Professor at University of New Mexico with focuses on control & game-theoretic operations research for satellite communications and navigation applications. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, National Academy of Inventors, Air Force Research Laboratory, Society of Photo-Optical and Instrumentation Engineers, Institution of Engineering and Technology, American Astronautical Society, the Royal Aeronautical Society, International Association for the Advancements of Space Safety, and Royal Astronomical Society. Also, he is an Associate Fellow of Royal Institute of Navigation and AIAA. His interests include statistical optimal control; decision analysis of adversarial systems; dynamic game decision optimization; satellite cognitive radios; digital beamforming; resilient navigation & authentication; and control & coordination of adaptive complex systems. His research monographs include “Resilient Controls for Ordering Uncertain Prospects: Change and Response” (ISBN 978-3-319-08704-7, Springer 2014) and “Linear-Quadratic Controls in Risk-Averse Decision Making: Performance-Measure Statistics and Control Decision Optimization” (ISBN 978-1-4614-5078-8, Springer 2012). He holds 30 US patents. Lastly, he was inducted into the National Center for Simulation - Modeling & Simulation Hall of Fame in 2023.
